Stained Glass Dome of Shah Neshin Elahieh

In a residential building on Elahieh Street in Tehran, a distinctive pavilion with a green roof was constructed. Dr. Gandami, the client, wanted a luxurious and unique dome for this pavilion.

The pavilion, supported by round concrete columns, reaches a height of approximately 6 meters. With the dome, the total height extends to about 9 meters. This setup allows the pavilion to offer an unobstructed view of the surrounding building and its environment. Initially, the builder installed a dome based on preliminary calculations. However, after the Taj Group reviewed the structure, they decided to replace it with a new, custom-designed dome. The team installed the new dome in under 24 hours, ensuring all details were precise.

Before installation, Taj Workshop No. 1 began producing stained glass. The design of the dome received client approval before construction began. The project, which features a dome with a 7-meter diameter and covers more than 70 square meters, finished in under 10 days. The quick turnaround was crucial to meet the client’s tight schedule and ensure satisfaction.

The new stained glass dome, with a 3.5-meter height and hemispherical shape, enhances the visual appeal and provides a panoramic view of the building’s facade. Luxury skylights, such as this stained glass dome, add elegance and sophistication to pavilions and royal residences, creating a stunning and inviting environment for users.
