Sina Shopping Center in Hamadan is one of the largest shopping centers in the city. In addition, it was developed by the Hamadan Municipality Civil Organization. This office and commercial complex is situated at Abu Ali Sina Square, which is a prominent city landmark. Moreover, the Skylight of Sina Shopping Center is recognized as one of the valuable projects.
The center features a central void covered by a striking stained glass dome. Specifically, this dome was designed and implemented by the Taj Group to meet client specifications.
In terms of design, the structure includes a square layout supported by four pillars. Additionally, the central dome, complemented by flat sections at the corners, completely encloses the void.
Furthermore, the designer incorporated Iranian Islamic forms and geometric patterns, using various colored and textured stained glass. As a result, when sunlight filters through, the colors create a dynamic, dancer-like effect. Meanwhile, crystal and carved glass elements add a touch of sparkle.
Above the stained glass dome, there is a pyramid-shaped structure featuring simple glass panels. This addition, therefore, enhances the building’s exterior view and complements the caulking, resulting in a visually stunning effect.
The Taj technical team handled every aspect of the project. Specifically, this included structural design, construction, stained glass design, installation, and caulking. Notably, Taj is renowned for its expertise in designing and implementing combined skylights across Iran, thereby ensuring high-quality results for every project.
