In 2010, Taj Group designed and constructed Skylight of Symbol of Farmanieh. The building sits on Farmanieh Street, a prominent location in the area.
The design includes a dedicated space in the ceiling of the main hall for a skylight. This circular opening, with a 3-meter diameter, allows natural light to brighten the interior of the building.
Mr. Yeganeh, the building constructor, and Taj Group collaborated to create a lens-like design for the dome. This design features a low-height, lens-shaped dome that minimizes its visibility from the outside and reduces its overall dimensions.
Taj Group completed the design phase of the metal frame structure, and the project has now entered the operational phase. The design optimizes operational principles and steel structure regulations, resulting in a lightweight structure that significantly lowers project costs.
To achieve this, Taj Group used lighter materials, such as metal angles and shields, instead of traditional profiles. The stained glass design for the dome features a minimalist geometric style. The project incorporates various types of glass, including frosted, etched, and acid-washed glass, to enhance clarity and brightness.
At the employer’s request, the design includes a central space in the dome for a chandelier, adding to the project’s visual appeal. For insulation, Taj Group built a small room above the structure to prevent rainwater penetration, employing a European insulation technique. This method stands out from those used in other Taj Group projects.
Taj Group customizes insulation methods for each project based on its unique features and technical requirements.
